Here you will find all you need to know if you are interested in one-to-one ancient language lessons, online or in person. I teach Classical Greek, New Testament Greek, Biblical Hebrew, Latin and other specialty subjects, over Zoom or Skype. There are currently groups running in most of the above at various levels of progress, which are open to new members. One-to-one lessons are £35 each (€40 / USD$40 / CDN$55) and last 60-75 minutes, but the price can be flexible for students, low income or groups. For more information please email me at teacher.learnnewtestamentgreek@gmail.com, or see Courses Available. Please give us a like on Facebook, at facebook.com/LearnNewTestamentGreek!
I also run two reading groups. One is going through the Psalms in the Septuagint (the Ancient Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures), on the last Tuesday and Thursday of every month, for £12. The other is an an LGBTQ+ Ancient Greek Reading Group, looking at a variety LGBTQ-themed texts from the 9th century BCE to the 5th CE. Both groups are appropriate for people of any skill level, and for people studying Classical or Koine Greek.
I am also open to suggestions about other ways I could teach; for example, I put together this Overview of New Testament Greek. It is a standalone course meant to introduce how to read the Greek text and how the language works, as well as some of the theological implications of reading the New Testament in the original language.
